Charity News – Celebrating success for the ‘Pearls of Wisdom’!

On Friday 17th May, our Priory Dental Care quiz team, ‘Pearls of Wisdom’, took part in the Downham Market Lions Club ‘Mega Quiz’, and won a very respectable 2nd place!
The £100 prize money will be donated to the RNLI, as chosen by team member Sheila, who can often be found sailing around the coast on her boat ‘Goosander’.
As a charity, the RNLI is separate from the Coastguard, and independent of the Government, so they rely on volunteers, supporters and donations to run their lifesaving service.
RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland, often putting their own lives at risk, to save the lives of others who have gotten into difficulty at sea. You can read more about this fantastic, lifesaving charity at www.rnli.org
