COVID-19 Update – No changes for Face Coverings in Healthcare

With the relaxation of Plan B rules from Thursday 27th January, many settings no longer require face coverings.

However, Public Health England’s infection prevention control guidelines remain in place across all health services, including hospitals, GP practices, dental practices, optometrists and pharmacies to ensure patients and staff are protected.

Staff, patients and visitors must continue to follow social distancing rules when visiting any healthcare setting, as well as using face coverings, masks and other personal protection equipment.

So, until we are advised otherwise, we ask everyone who enters our building, to please continue to wear a face covering and follow social distancing rules.

Thank you all in advance for your co-operation and understanding!
