Surgery 1 Refurbishment Update

⭐ SURGERY 1 UPDATE ⭐

So, two weeks turned into six, due to an issue with the new cabinetry, but we’re now ready with the long-awaited “big reveal” for Surgery 1

As we said in our previous post, this room was stripped right back to bare walls and floor. We added lead lining for the new X-ray set, re-insulated the walls, new ceiling, plastering, painting, and new flooring was laid. Four full spectrum daylight led lighting panels have been fitted, along with all new Corian cabinetry to match the aesthetics of our other three treatment rooms. We finished off with the latest Stern Weber S320TR dental chair, which incorporates cutting-edge electronics and state-of-the-art technology for specialist techniques. As with all our dental chairs, this unit has the upgraded memory foam upholstery to maximise patient comfort and support.

It’s been a lot of hard work, and although we all had very fond memories of the original “retro” cabinetry, bringing the room back up-to-date has been well worth the effort. We hope you’ll agree!
